G-BOSM For Sale

Robin DR253B – G-BOSM – £62,000.00 ono
Robin Regent DR253B. 1970 built Serial Number 168.
I have owned G-BOSM for the last 24 years. No expense has been spared on her upkeep. Always kept in a dry snug hangar. This is a genuine 4 seater go anywhere aircraft. Four fuel tanks. 1 Main, 2 wing tanks and an auxiliary tank which gives nearly 7 hours endurance.
The DR253B model was the designer Pierre Robin’s favourite airframe which he chose as his own personal transport in which he flew to many overseas destinations.
Since taking ownership I have had the inside completely refurbished from the original black plastic to a soft leather beige seats with red and beige interior roof and side panels. Inevitably there are a few marks on the front seats but nothing that detracts from the overall smart appearance.
SM has recently undergone a complete respray and looks stunning and wouldn’t look out of place on the apron of any major airport.
As per EASA AD she has had a new nose wheel assembly fitted.
Airframe has done 5296 hours. This will increase as SM is in regular use
Engine, Lycoming 0-360-A3A, 180 hp has been zero timed and to-date has done only 215 hours. This will increase as SM is in regular use. Crankcase and crankshaft overhauled by Lycoming and the engine rebuilt by Dukeries Aviation.
Also this year a new throttle cable has been fitted and the carburettor heat box completely overhauled and refurbished.
Three new tyres fitted two years ago.
Annual is due in 14th November 2026. SM will be sold with a fresh annual
Comes with all weather front/cockpit cover as per photographs.
In the engine bay there is a cigar socket fitted. This allows for the connection of a solar panel for battery maintenance.
